  • Injuries including lacerations, fractures, sprains, and strains (on site X-ray)
  • Skin problems such as rashes, bites, burns, and infections
  • Pediatric illnesses including fever, sore throat, cough, and ear ache (ages 2 months and above)
  • Mild to moderate abdominal and non-heart related chest pain
  • Acute back and neck pain, headache
  • Mild to moderate asthma, allergies, and hay fever
  • Rapid testing for strep, mono, influenza, urinary infections, pregnancy
  • Influenza and tetanus vaccines
  • Sports and camp physicals
  • Botox and Xeomin injections available by arrangement

When to see your primary care provider

 

You should contact your primary care provider for annual physicals, follow up of chronic medical conditions, insurance referrals, medication refills, or any other routine, non-urgent health care matter.  We recommend that you follow up with your primary care provider after being treated at MediQuick Urgent Care.  If you do not have a primary care provider or are unable to secure a follow up appointment, please let us know as we may be able to help.  Call us at 913-837-2500 for further assistance.

 

When to go to the ER

  • Life-threatening conditions
  • Heart attack or stroke (severe chest pain, sudden weakness, numbness, or difficulty speaking)
  • Severe breathing problems
  • Open fractures or other major trauma
  • Head injury, loss of consciousness
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe, uncontrolled pain or bleeding
  • Severe dehydration
  • Animal bites when rabies is a concern (wild animals or unvaccinated/unfamiliar pets)
